So I got a message from a friend who asked do Protein Bars go bad? To answer his question, yes, they do, but they last a lot longer than you may think.
For example the one in this photo has an expiration date of Oct 26 2009, that’s about 6 months from the date of purchase. Most bars have expiration dates on them but sometimes if you buy them by the box the expiration date is printed on the box itself and not on the individual bars so I usually keep them in the box for that reason.
Honestly, I currently don’t eat a lot of bars. I’ll stop and grab a few when I know that I’m going to be in a situation where i can’t eat for a few hours. For example; at the movies, driving long periods of time, while shopping with females (sighs) and, of course, at the club. I always sneak off to the bathroom to have a bar while my friends are getting wasted. I’ve learned that you’ll usually just get teased if you bust out a bar in the middle of the club, so keep them on the low
The real trick is finding a bar that you like that won’t melt in your pocket, maybe some company can market them like that. Bust a move, not your bar with Club Bars.

haaahahaha. that’s funny. me and my buddy do that all the time when we go bar hopping. when our friends are ordering another pitcher, we say we’re going outside for a “smoke” break and just eat a protein bar or two or go find us a burger joint then come back hahah
That’s the problem (exp dates). If something described as “food” can last 2 years, I’m scared.
