Have you ever been training at the gym and had your motivation crushed by someone twice as buff  “or twice as skinny” as you? I can remember back to when I was 18 and had just began training. I could easily have my focus thrown off by someone bigger & stronger than me at the gym. Over the years I’ve accomplished a lot in the gym and feel very confident about my training, so it’s not a problem anymore.

What I want to share with you is that no matter where you are in your training, the important thing to remember is that your focus in the gym should be 100% on you. You have a goal in mind and that’s what your training for, not to impress whoever is next to you at the gym. I can personally tell you that I never look at someone and think, “Wow, they’re weak or outta shape.”  I’m too busy rocking out to my Ipod and trying to get through my workout alive.

TIP: Keep in mind that no one can take away your swagger no matter how buff or skinny they are, so just smile and do your thing.
