If more than half the country uses them they must work, right? So should you use supplements? What kind should you take? When should you use them? Where should you buy them? Why should you use them?


Start With The Basics

A typical supplement store carries an average of over 2,000 products

In the beginning it’s common to hang our hopes on that “magic pill” our friends used or that we saw our favorite celebrity promoting. What most come to realize is that supplements are literally just that, it’s a product used to “supplement” a healthy lifestyle. When some basic supplements are added to a lifestyle that includes proper nutrition & exercise is when you will realize the actual benefits.

Figuring all of this out can be overwhelming at first. However I’ve found the best way to approach the world of supplements is with a rule I call “Try, Deny, Apply”. If you find a product you believe may benefit your goals give it a try. If it doesn’t work get rid of it (deny it), if it works great, keep using it (apply it). The most important thing in all of this is to keep going and not to quit because the “magic pill” isn’t working.
